Healthy Pumpkin Bread

Healthy Pumpkin Bread

Even though it's 100 degrees outside today, my heart and house are screaming for FALL. Sooo.. I spent today making Pumpkin Bread with a healthy twist! I successfully made pumpkin bread without calling my mom 5 times, so I would say this is an easy recipe! I just learned to cook this year. In fact, I just learned that baking soda is a baking ingredient and not just a fridge freshener :0 So if I can bake this, so can you.  Ingredients:  1 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour 1 tablespoon of Pumpkin Pie Spice 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking...

Tub and Tile Update

Tub and Tile Update

Some say that I will paint anything, and I now believe them. I painted my tub and shower tile. Yes... you read that right. It seems a little crazy and honestly I am not sure how this paint works. Porch Update

Porch Update

My first words of wisdom are.... do not do this on a 100 degree day! Whew, I sweated a lot during this DIY!  My front porch isn't much of a front porch, but I am working with what I've got! Front Door Supply List:  Quart of Paint (I used Sherwin Williams Resilience Exterior Acrylic Latex Paint)  Painter's Tape Primer (I used Sherwin Williams All Purpose Primer)  Paint Brushes or a roller...

I mean I love it more than Disney World, Christmas morning or the beach. It. Is. So. Good. We just wrapped up our 9th show at The Junk Ranch, and it was pure magic. My favorite thing about TJR is the people. I always leave TJR in total awe of the talented and creative people. The...

Styling a Tray

Styling a Tray

I love trays of all shapes and sizes! There are no rules to styling a tray, but I have noticed that I do lean towards the same type of items each time I style a tray! You can really use anything to style your tray.  Let's get styling! 1. Start with your favorite tray Any tray will work! I used our Square Tray!  2. Add some height The best way I know to do this is with books! I like to make a stack of 2 or 3 books. I REALLY like vintage books! That's the teacher and reader in...
